Located in Broken Hill, Lingstar Pty Ltd trading as DWC (Don Williams Contractors) maintains a heavy combination truck fleet able to deliver a full range of sand, soil and quarry products, and servicing the vast area of Far West New South Wales and South Australia.
The company has just acquired a NEW Mobile Crushing Fleet and combined with prime movers with varied combinations including low-loaders, side tippers, end tippers, and hires graders, dozers, excavators, drill rigs, loaders, concrete trucks and water trucks are available for all projects.
The Transport trucking fleet is closely linked to the core business of quarrying and ensures timely delivery of products to
customers and civil projects.
Lingstar has a comprehensive range of specialized plant and equipment available for hire for specific projects, including Road Maintenance Contracts, General Civil Type Works, Quarrying and Processing.
Civil contracting projects require project management and quality control for specialized procedures including surveying, excavation, drainage, stormwater and sewerage installation, trenching for power telecommunication services, pavement construction, concreting and landscaping supported by products from Lingstars own quarries.
The core of business is the two Hard Rock quarry operations, producing Granite Gneiss and Amphibolite Gneiss materials
along with three Sand leases, one Limestone lease and one Loam lease. The main quarry's are situated west of Broken Hill.
Products include (RTA Approved) Road Base Road Sealing Material, sub-base, base, course, shoulder material, drain rock and pipe bedding.
Valued customers include RTA projects, Councils, Shires, Civil and Landscaping contractors, the Mining industry and private sales.
